Smiling waiters, professional service, and superb cuisine, at a very reasonable price. Whatever else is ordered, don't miss the side dish of mashed potatoes with truffles. The quantity of truffles alone is more than worth the price. It will have you adding this dish to your repertoire at home.
Wine available 'à la ficelle,' literally, charged by the string, meaning that patrons don't have to buy the whole bottle. It is opened at the table, but one is charged only for the number of glasses drunk. The name comes from the practice of years gone by of giving the patron a string on which knots were tied as a record of the glasses ordered.
Tables outside on the sidewalk, on a street with little traffic. Best to reserve.
